I'll be playing at East Nashville's Family Wash every Wednesday night in the month of August. Special guests this week include drummer Joe Giotta, bassist Andy Willhite, and the great Joe Bidewell, who will grace us with a set of his own. Start time is 8:30. If you're in Nashville tonight, I invite you to drop by the 5 Spot where you'll find the Joiners-- for whom I play guitar--celebrating the release of a brand-new, Eric McConnell-produced collection of twangy rock-n-pop, Glorious Glorious. Taylor and Rachel Joiner have very recently relocated to Birmingham, and are expecting a kid in January. It's great news, but it does mean this may be the last time we get to playing up here, for a while, at least. Hope to see you tonight.
